Gleichzeitig wird der Wasserabfluss jederzeit sichergestellt.

Siphon: An unbeatable team
The integrated syphon performs a double function: It acts as a reliable odour barrier and at the same time protects the filter mat from moisture.
Foul-smelling gases cannot escape unhindered, as they are directed specifically through the activated carbon mat and effectively neutralized there. At the same time, the siphon prevents condensation or precipitation water from coming into direct contact with the filter mat — it remains dry, clean and fully efficient at all times.
This ensures a consistently high filter effect, long service life and virtually maintenance-free operation.
Huge filter area
Despite its compact size, a filter mat with a diameter of 443 mm and a height of 42.5 mm offers a response area of around 110 soccer fields (785,465 m²).

How COALSI odour filter works
The activated carbon used in our filters consists of more than 90% carbon with a large internal surface area (approx. 1200 m²/g). 4-5g of charcoal therefore corresponds approximately to the area of a soccer field. This area is used to adsorb unwanted, odor-causing substances from the air.
To increase the functionality of the filter mats, an ionizing fleece is integrated between the two activated carbon filters, which further increases the lifespan and reactivity of the activated carbon.
The COALSI filter mats consist of three different mats: a coarse-pored gas distribution mat to optimally distribute the incoming air over the surface, the ionizing fleece (ITS mat) and a fine-pored activated carbon mat to neutralize the odors of the exhaust air.
There are special impregnations for cases of hardship when activated carbon alone cannot filter all gases out of the air. Compared to the standard mat, these are even more effective against:
alkaline gases, e.g. ammonia, amines
acidic gases, e.g. sulfur compounds
hydrogen sulphide
